The shaman forges a link between his soul and an ally’s. Every time a shaman with spirit link active damages an opponent with a physical attack or casts a spell during combat, his linked ally regains 10 hit points. Every time the linked ally damages an opponent with a physical attack or casts a spell during combat, the shaman regains 10 hit points. This healing occurs as a rapid mending of the flesh, not utilizing positive energy.
If either the shaman or the linked ally should become unconcious or die while the spirit link is active, the other must make a Fortitude saving throw (against the DC of Spirit Link) or become nauseated for 1 minute. A successful Fortitude save reduces this to sickened for 1 minute instead.
Spirit link must be cast from a single pool and must be from the pool that matches the target’s Essence color.
A shaman may only have one spirit link active at a time and only with a single other creature. Both the shaman and the linked creature must have a soul for spirit link to work.
