This spell creates a brilliant, multi-colored ray of blinding energy that lances out to strike any target within range. The caster must make a ranged touch attack to strike a target. On a successful attack, a creature struck by the spell is automatically dazzled for 2d4×10 minutes in addition to suffering as if he had been struck by all five colors of a Prismatic Wall (listed below). The victim makes the appropriate saving throws to avoid suffering the full effects of each color, as detailed in the description of the prismatic wall spell. As with prismatic wall, an opponent takes a -2 penalty on their saving throws against this spell.

Color Effect
Red 1d6 points of fire damage per caster level, max 15d6 (Reflex half)
Green Poison (Frequency 1/rd. for 6 rd.; Effect 1d2 Con/rd.; Cure 2 consecutive Fort saves)
White Blinded plus 1d6 points of light damage per two caster levels, max 10d6 (Reflex half and negates blind)
Blue Confusion for 1 round/caster level (Will reduces to 1 round)
Black 1d4 negative levels (Fort half, min 1)

Note that the damage caused by the Red, White, and Black portions of a prismatic ray can do double damage (or double negative levels, in the case of Black) on a successful critical hit. The effects caused by the Green and Blue portions are not enhanced by a critical hit.
