With a single utterance, you sheath a creature in elemental energy – dripping acid, vaporous ice, crackling electricity, smoking flame, or thunderous air.
You temporarily imbue a creature with elemental energy. When you cast this spell, specify an energy type (acid, cold, electricity, fire, or sonic). This spell is a spell of that type, and the target creature is sheathed in that energy. All successful melee or ranged physical attacks made by the target creature until the beginning of your next turn deals an extra 1d6 points of damage of the specified energy type. If sonic was chosen, it deals an extra 1d4 points of damage of the specified energy type instead.
If cast using Red mana, this spell can grant electricity, fire, or sonic damage. If case using Green mana, this spell can grant acid damage. If cast using Blue mana, this spell can grant cold damage.
If lesser energy surge fails to penetrate the spell resistance of a given target, it cannot damage that target for the remainder of the spell’s duration.
